Since our house is being shown regularly, we have been keeping it clean which means we don't get out many toys. While, it's been a good learning time, it's also a bit annoying. Yesterday after our Parents As Teachers lady left, the girls and I walked to Wal-Mart. It was fun. It really was a nice day but by the time we got home we were pretty hot. The purpose of going was to get a pinwheel to put in the patio by the light to keep the birds away. Unfortunately, Wal-Mart didn't carry pinwheels. Afterwards, the girls took good naps.
Today, we went outside and played for quite awhile. After awhile we went for a walk around the neighborhood. I'd seen a lot of cars driving by so I assumed there must be a garage sale so I took my money, just incase. There were two garage sales further down on Northridge. One had girls' clothes mostly 4T and up and we got Ruthy four pieces for $1. We got a beautiful purple, velvet skirt, a pink Cordoroy skirt, some khaki pants and a long sleeve shirt. Then, at the next garage sale we got our baby two outfits.
This afternoon the girls laid down to sleep. After forty-five minutes Moriah woke up and Ruthy hadn't even fallen asleep. So, both girls got in bed with me and ended up sleeping two more hours. They needed it since tonight was our Good Friday service. The choir sang and did a good job. Tonight's performance was one of the first lasts. This was the last choir time we will have here at CCC before our move.
