We had a great Christmas this year (but aren't most when there's so much excitement with the kids!!). We were home on Christmas day...something we rarely get to do. And, we waited to open presents until Christmas morning...something else we rarely do! : ) The kids were all very surprised when they opened their gifts.
We headed to Illinois on Sunday the 27th, after church (and after I got stuck on the icy roads!) It was so wonderful being in Illinois with family! We had a great time and it never seems long enough to soak it all up! We were able to play in the snow and even got to plow snow with Gpa Humphrey in the big truck!!
Then, we had the joy of spending New Year's Eve with Matt & Monica Worstell and Shawn & Hannah. The kids had such a great time playing with them and even had fun at the sleepover! We had a great time catching up with Matt & Monica. Matt also showed us how to make our own sushi! Yummy!
New Year's Day we traveled to Gma Bond's house. The kids were super-excited to see them (and play with Cricket--gma bond's dog)! : ) It's so nice that they all get along and aren't scared of her anymore! We had a great time visiting and playing together.
We are very blessed in so many, many ways. We are very thankful for all our wonderful family and friends! I never remember to take pictures, and then later wish I had....I'll try to remember to make this a new year's resolution!
