Time to start this up again

Well, I suppose that it would be a good idea to start up this blog thing again. I have encouraged two of my friends to start a blog as their wives are in the hospital and both dealing with some major stuff. If you would happen to know Matt & Monica Worstell or Mark & Lindsay Nichols you might want to check in and see how the ladies are doing. Pray for both of them.

Rachel is taking the girls on a "girl's vacation" to the Farm in Illinois where Grandma & Grandpa Humphrey live. They will get to enjoy a half week together. As it wraps up this weekend, Rachel will get to go to her 10 year class reunion. Yep, the Class of '95 will be gathering around LaHarpe to celebrate. Unfortunately, Mark has a wedding to set sound for this weekend and get reset for Sunday morning.

Ruthy went to the hospital today to visit a lady named Mary that she has been praying for at supper time for almost 2 months. Mary is the grandmother of Travis, a close friend of Mark's. Mary had surgery today and Ruthy went to go pray with her before her surgery. She sent her a crown about two weeks ago and Mary hasn't stopped talking about it. She shows everyone her crown and reminds them that SHE is Queen and that Ruthy made it for her. As a kind jesture in return, Mary gave Ruthy an adorable American Girl Charm that Ruthy loves and wears on a silver necklace. Mary was excited to see Ruthy today. She made it through surgery just fine. Ruthy decided to make Mary another crown to wear at the hospital during recovery. I'm sure she will enjoy it.

Moriah has finally got her wheels to move as fast as she wants them. Running and chasing Ruthy is a daily game. It sure has been fun watching them learn to interact as they both are very mobile. Moriah is learning the hard way about sharing. Suddenly, Ruthy's big girl toys are much more fun than a ball or fuzzy block. Ruthy is a wonderful big sister and enjoys carrying Moriah around by her arm pits. Quite a hoot.
