Our Girls

You know you have those moments where you are so thankful for what God has blessed you with. We're always grateful but sometimes we overlook it all and get caught up with 'life'. Today was a whole day of thankfulness. The girls both ended up sleeping in our bed by this morning. They were cute. Both girls had on doggie pajamas, I wish I would've had a camera. When they woke up, Ruthy rolled over and kissed Moriah. Moriah started laughing which made Ruthy giggle.

At 11:00, Moriah had a doctor appointment. Ruthy came with us since Mark wasn't feeling well this morning. Ruthy was really nervous for Moriah since she'd be getting shots. She did great being brave for her though and told her what a great job she did when she was done. Both girls waited patiently while we waited to be seen.

We had to go to W-Mart and get some medicine for Moriah. She has fluid on the ears again. Dr. Doug said that he'd check her again in three weeks, and if it's still there we'd go to an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist to get tubes for her ears. Both girls shared some popcorn chicken while we shopped.

Since Mark was sick this morning we had to change our sheets. So, Ruthy let me sleep in her bed (First time in several weeks she's slept in her bed and not on the floor). She had fun having a slumber party in her bed. Moriah even joined us for awhile.

When the girls woke up they played together nicely. Ruthy had to take a breathing treatment for her asthma and Moriah tried to help. Then, they played hide & seek. Ruthy is great at this game! Moriah hides (sometimes even in obvious places) and Ruthy will seek several places looking for Moriah. After she finds her they both squeal in delight and Ruthy tells Moriah what a good job she did. Then, it's Ruthy's time to hide. Moriah will go off and 'count' (it's cute to hear her). Then she'll go looking for Ruthy. She looks around "no", "no", (she can't find Ruthy). Then when she finds Ruthy they both laugh. It's nice to have such great girls that are already great friends!

Ruthy was ready for bed at 7:30 tonight and headed up to change her clothes. Both girls went to sleep quietly and nicely and hopefully will sleep all night. Our movies are due at the library tomorrow and now we have our remote, so I think I'll go watch one.
