Last week was Ruthy's trip to the dentist. She did SOOO good!!! She was a bit nervous at first (but who isn't?!). Then, after he put the numbing medicine on, she completely relaxed. You can tell she trusts Dr Tim. She is convinced there is no dentist as good as he is! They took an x-ray of the right side and found two more cavities.
The pictures tell a lot. Ruthy in the red shirt was from our first trip. She was so nervous she wouldn't even sit in the chair. By trip #2, she sat in the dentist's chair (and thinks she might become a dentist), she looked at all the 'picks' and told me what they use each one for, and enjoyed looking at the x-rays. When Dr. Tim came in she was ready to do it. She even told him that the water was the next part...and she was right!
Tim did great, as always, and Ruthy was able to get 4 prizes!!
The other great thing about this trip, was being able to stay with and visit Jon & Sabrina Vega and visit with Tyler & Rebecca Bledsoe, who we were in small group with in St. Joe. The kids had a great time playing together too.
