We'll start with our youngest. Javan is growing so quickly. Because of the cooler temps and the fact that he's getting bigger we moved him into 3-6month clothes. His 0-3 month clothing selection didn't have many long sleeve shirts. This new wardrobe isn't lacking. He had two overflowing tubs of clothes. Who knew a 3 month old 'needed' 25 pairs of pajamas?! but, I know we'll go through them and he won't have to wait for me to do laundry! He is smiling and talking so much. He's been sleeping through the nights too. Wednesday night he slept from 9:30pm-7am! It was great! (of course, I was up checking on him) : )
We're hoping to call Moriah's "fluke" deal a growth spurt. Her blood sugar numbers have been great and the nurse said today that we can quit poking her. She's done super with it and hasn't shed any more tears. She does still enjoy the Dora & Barbie bandaides they picked out. Today we went to the mall and walked around for some excercise. It was a good walk. Moriah even walked some although she's much more of a daudler than Ruthy and kept stopping to eat ice from our cup. On the way out of the mall, I pushed Ruthy & Moriah in the stroller while carrying Javan. (that was when we were walking the fastest)
Ruthy is really growing up too. Everything with her is very black and white. Today at JcPenneys we saw two teenagers sitting on the blocks where the manicans stand. She pointed this fact out loudly and let them know that that was not the right thing to do. then, we walk out to the parkinglot and she informs the drivers of two cars that they are not being good drivers. (they really weren't; one was impatiently waiting on the other who was trying to perfectly park in a spot and going in-and-out). She helped me watch Moriah while we were shopping and made sure Moriah didn't get to far. She kept her closer than I did at times...although it didn't always go over so well with Moriah.
Mark is enjoying getting some golfing in. I think he's golfed more the last two weeks than he did the whole time we lived in St. Joe. This weekend the church is having a men's golf outing in Branson that he is at. The girls are enjoying sleeping in bed with me while he's away.
Today we went to Kim Ensminger's home and watched a movie while the kids played. It was fun. Moriah was really sleepy so she was pretty cranky, Ruthy was whining at the end because she didn't want to leave, and Javan was crying because he was hungry and tired. Thanks to Janese for feeding Javan for me and Ms. Kim for entertaining Ruthy and helping get her out the door while I comforted Moriah.
Ha, who thought the title meant we were expecting?!?!! We're NOT.
