Javan is learning and doing so many fun things. He hasn't taken good naps lately but has slept a little better at night. This week he fell asleep in his exersaucer and asleep at supper.
While crawling around on the kitchen floor he spotted some cheerios he'd just dropped on the floor of his exersaucer so he crawled under it to eat them.
The next day while I was making cookies he decided to play peek-a-boo. We hadn't been playing it or anything, he came up with it by himself. He lifted his shirt up to cover his face then pulled it down and laughed!! It was great!!
Tuesday for Mom's Connection we went to the park to play. While we were there it started to rain. Moriah looked down and said, "Mom, look at all the eye drops!!"
Wednesday was our last mid-week Bible study at church until the fall. Ruthy was pretty disappointed but then found out I would be teaching crafts in her class this summer on Sundays so then she was pretty excited. We'll miss the extra time with friends and the Bible studies but it's looking to be a very busy summer!
Today we met Stephanie, Ally, and Cy at the park. The kids had a fun time playing together. It thundered a few times while we were there which scared Moriah but the other kids played through it. Then we went to Burger King for supper and to play some more. We left there at 7 and came home. It was a fun day and the kids are all tired and ready for bed!
Tomorrow is Mark's day off so we will enjoy time together as a family.
Mark's nephew (his brother, Gordon's son) Travis had surgery today. The procedure took 13 hours. It is to fix his scoliosis. The doctor warned him about the first three days being very painful, so please keep him in your prayers.
