A Great Vacation!!

We had a wonderful time on vacation!

The trip on the airplane went really smooth as did dragging all our luggage. Ruthy & Javan packed together, Moriah & I packed together, then Mark had his suitcase (with a few of my clothes too), then we had one bag with formula, bottles, and Ruthy's breathing machine! The girls loved the airplane and Javan slept through take off and most of the trip.

We saw Jonathan (Peep) & Jessica Mitchell. Jessica used to be the Children's Minister in St. Joe when we were there. It was fun to visit with them and we played at Chuck-E-Cheese.

Then, we drove down to my sister's house. The cousins, Hannah & Allison, were so excited to see the girls!! We had so much fun playing together. Michael, Meredith & the girls live at a church camp south of Indianapolis. http://www.camp-allendale.org/ There are two big playgrounds and a wonderful sand box that we spent a lot of time in. We also drove golf carts around to get to the playgrounds which the kids loved! Javan loved going fast!!

We visited the Indianapolis Children's Museum on Thursday. Ruthy loved the carousel there and we went around 4 or 5 times! Then on Friday, we took the cousins' pictures at JcPenneys. The kids all did really well considering we had to wait 45 minutes to take our pictures after we got there. Plus, we had six children with Ruthy being the oldest. It was fun to tell the JcPenney's photographer we had six children: a 4 year old, a 3 year old, two 2 year olds, a 10 month old and a 2 month old!! The photographer even loved the pictures and they plan to put one of them up in their studio sometime!!

My parents and sister, Sarah, were able to join us on Friday and stay until Monday. We had so much fun being together. The kids had a great time playing with everyone.

We flew home VERY early on Wednesday. It was such a wonderful vacation and so nice to be able to spend time with family.
