Funnies

Here are just a few funnies the girls have said this last week:

Ruthy loves to sing. She has a cd player in the playroom where she pretends to be a DJ (even though she doesn't know that's what it is). The other day she was listening to a kids' music cd that sang "This is the way we bake our bread, bake our bread, bake our bread... so early Monday morning." Although Ruthy's version was, "This is the way we bake our friends..."

Last week we went swimming at the YMCA in Carthage. On the way home we pass a miniature goat farm. We told the girls to watch out Moriah's window and they'd see the goats. As we drove past Moriah said, 'That goat doesn't have a head!!" A little goat had its head bent down eating grass and she missed it.

Moriah is in the fun stage of learning language. The other day we bought a hula hoop. However, Moriah likes to walk around calling it a "hula poop".

Ruthy loves to repeat Bible stories and lessons she has learned. Today at breakfast after she prayed for Grandpa Bond's leg to be healed (his leg has been bothering him). Then she went on to tell Moriah "you know Jesus can heal his leg, just like he healed Isaac. Mary and Martha were sad but Jesus healed Isaac and made him all better. He was dead and Jesus healed him."

Today we went to the park. Moriah and Ruthy loved climbing up those little curved bar ladders. At the top they walked across to a big curly slide. Moriah would just walk out and somewhat fall down to a sitting position rather than sit down and push herself down the slide. Every time she'd come off saying "ouch, that hurt my bottom." She thought it was so funny though so she'd continue and probably did it five more times!
