This week

We went to visit Mark's brother, Gordon, and his family. Their three kids were all home from college so it was a wonderful surprise to see them all. We came back Saturday early evening and enjoyed Papa John's pizza!

Sunday we went to church and this was my last Sunday in Ruthy's class. Next week I'll be in the Tigers class (1-2 year olds).

Our Parents as Teachers lady, Sue, came on Monday. We have such a good time with her. She brought tongs with cotton balls and pom pom balls. They put the balls into an egg carton with their tongs. the girls had such a good time. Then she brought scissors and scrap paper for them to cut. Moriah cut with her right hand. I suggested she switch to her left as that's the one she usually uses to write with. But she kept switching it back to her right hand. Maybe she's ambidextrous.

She did Javan's 12 month screening too. He scored above his age level and is doing really well. She checked his hearing (with various noise makers behind him), vision (with a little light), and his ability to walk/run/throw balls, etc.

Mark has had worship team try-outs Tuesday & Wednesday and has practice on thursday.

We went to JcPenney's today and took Ruthy's 5 year portraits. She loved it!! Her smile was big and you could tell she was having fun. We picked up Moriah's pictures at the same time. We go tomorrow to JcPenney's for Javan's 1 year portrait.

tonight was cooler outside so we went for a short walk. Ruthy rides her bike while Moriah rides the tricycle and I push Javan in the stroller. Moriah's trike has a handle to push her (thankfully!!! as she needs lots of pushes). So on our walk I end up pushing Moriah & Javan, neither of them goes straight so it's quite an ordeal. We finally made it home for a quick bath and snacks.

Ruthy counted to 100 today, all by herself!!! We were so proud of her. Then, she started to teach moriah how to do it too. during our school time today Moriah's worksheet had a dot-to-dot from 1-5. She pointed to the number to go to next while I drew the lines. She did them all in order!!! Javan is climbing on everything!! He keeps climbing on the little chairs by the kids' table and climbing right onto the table. He absolutely loves it and doesn't mind getting into trouble.

We're looking forward to Aunt Bonita and Brandon coming this weekend. Gma Bond will be traveling back with them on Sunday after church.
