Ruthy has spent the last several weeks delaying bedtime with numerous trips in to my room before FINALLY going to sleep. Last night was a breaking point when she woke up Moriah (they shared a room). So, today we turned the guest room into Ruthy's princess room. It's really pretty. She had a princess bed-set of sheets, pillows, and comforter that she earned a few months ago by sleeping in her bed all night. We put those on the old guest bed, a queen size, as well as a few extra blankets. We decorated her room with pictures from her old room. For Christmas from Aunt Bonita & Brandon, she received a Cinderella poster. We'll hang that in the room tomorrow. Today we bought her a Cinderella clock. It's a really cute room and she likes it! So far she's been pretty excited about sleeping in it.
Moriah had a hard time adjusting to a room without Ruthy. I really thought it would be harder for Ruthy. We moved Moriah's bed to the east wall and her dresser to the south wall. Both rooms look so much bigger now.
Mark went duck hunting today for the first time ever. He really liked it and is going back tomorrow. He shot two today...but I'm sure when he's done working on his sermon for this weekend, he can write more.
Tomorrow we have a small group party at church. Travis and Lindsay Myers are preparing to move to Joplin, MO. Lindsay has accepted a position with College Press Publishing and Travis will be earning a degree at Ozark Christian College next fall. We wish them the best, but will miss them IMMENSLY.
