Today Ruthy woke up having a more pain. We took her to the Urgent Care Center where they diagnosed a kidney infection. She was given two shots of antibiotics (it took 3 nurses to do the shots and hold her legs...very sad). Now, she takes an oral antibiotic three times a day for 10 days. She's pretty sore tonight and tired too. Hopefully the medicine will start working and she'll be feeling better. I told her she could go to 'big church' with me tomorrow morning as she's not sure she wants to be too far away. It still hurts her quite a bit to use the bathroom so please pray she doesn't have to do that tomorrow at church.
We did enjoy lunch at Pizza Inn after the ordeal. Mark took Moriah and Javan to W-Mart to get some road snacks for our trip.
We're are excited about spending some time with the Bond family. Then, some time with my parents. The kids and I will get to be with them through first week of January! Mark is going to a Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA during that time.

Wow! Sure hope that Ruthy is feeling better. When i read the previous blog about her hip hurting and pain with the potty, I wondered. We have been there with Hannah. I am surprized with her fever being that high that they didn't admit her. That one time you guys brought us pizza after she had been in the hospital was just what you are going through.
Hope your trip was ok and we will keep praying for her. Once they get one kidney infection, their chances for others are higher.
