This Weekend

Friday morning we went skating at Toddler Skate day. Ruthy had fun and was determined to skate by herself. She did a great job, but did fall down a few times (something that rarely happens). After that, we went out for lunch at 54th Street Restaurant. It was delicious then we enjoyed naps.

Saturday we cleaned up the yard and picked up sticks. It was a nice sunny day, but a bit windy so the girls and I came inside. We are all getting colds so the girls napped. Then, we met Jon, Sabrina, Zoey, and Zack for supper at Cici's prior to going to the new Arena Football game. Ryan Eaton, who is in our small group, plays Defensive on the team www.stjoestorm.com It was a fun game to watch. We hung out there until the end of third quarter, which was about 10pm.... way too late for a Saturday night. Mark ran by church quickly to clean up the stage from a wedding then we went home to bed.

Thankfully, the girls slept in today (sunday). Moriah slept until 8:30 and Ruthy until 9:00. They needed the extra rest. Since Moriah isn't feeling well she can't go in the nursery so we arrived late for 2nd service. Ruthy went to class though. Rebecca subbed for me at the last minute and did a great job with a very rough class. The Worship Minister Search team here at Central hosted a dinner for their first candidate who was here today. We were able to meet him and his family. Then, the girls and I came home for the afternoon while Mark stayed to work. Ruthy and Moriah napped, although Moriah only napped for an hour...not long enough for her (or I). Ruthy napped for two hours and woke up ready for choir. We went to choir then home for supper and semi-early bedtime. Hopefully, both girls will sleep well tonight and wake up feeling better tomorrow.

Tuesday I have a doctor appointment in Kansas City and on Wednesday we have our sonogram!!! We'll let you know if we're still having a boy! : )
