This Weekend (Thurs-Sat) was Mark's weekend to go camping with Mark Nichols and Matt Worstell. Thursday afternoon, Matt & Monica and Shawn & Hannah (their 18 month old twins) drove over and Monica and the twins stayed here with us. Matt, Mark & Mark met at a campground in Iowa that had cabins to stay in that were equipped with all the necessities. They had a great time being together and just spending time together again.
Monica, Shawn, Hannah, Ruthy, Moriah, & I spent Thursday night just playing together and sharing toys. The kids all went to sleep between 7:30-8:30 and Monica and I spent the rest of the night visiting. Everyone was up early Friday morning at our house. So, we decided to load everyone into our car and do some shopping. We went to Kohl's which sometimes has great clearance deals and only left with some $7 shoes for Ruthy & Moriah. Then, on to Sears where on Wednesday, I found some great clearance deals. Monica found several outfits for Shawn & Hannah and nothing was over $3/outfit! Then, we got Fazoli's to go and came home for lunch and naps. After naps we played outside for awhile even though it was a bit chilly, the kids enjoyed the change of scenery and it was good excercise. After supper we ran over to Target really quick then back home for bed.
We had such a great visit with them. We hope sometime this spring we can all meet together and go camping.
