It was a fun day at church. Ruthy had a friend (Dylan) come to class today with a big scratch on his face. When he walked in the classroom, Ruthy said to everyone "Oh my, poor Dylan...let's pray for him". Dylan's mom thought that was really nice.
Moriah's nursery worker decided it would be fun to play peek-a-boo with Moriah into Mom's classroom during 3rd service. Needless to say, that wasn't as much fun for Moriah as the nursery worker had anticipated.
After church, we went and ate lunch with the College Students. The church hosts a meal once a month for them to eat some good ol' home cookin'. Our family, along with the Smith's, stick around to get to know the students. That sure is nice to take two sleepy girls home from church with full bellies. They fell asleep at home around 2 PM and were out for almost 3 hours.
The Chief's blew a big lead and ended up losing to Philly. Not a good day to be a Chief's fan.
We went to Hy-Vee for Chinese and grocery shopping. Ruthy had her list and did a great job getting her items. She picked up four lemons, some watermelon, green grapes, cream cheese, and bagels. She is quite the shopper. Meanwhile, Moriah played peek-a-boo with plastic produce bag -- not over her head, just over her eyes :)
