Pumpkin Patch [Pictures]

We got to enjoy a wonderful morning outside today with several others from church. 16 preschoolers showed up at the Pumpkin Patch with their moms (and 3 dads - Mark was one). They got a tour of the apple orchard and learned about the cider press and had story time. A special appearance of Pooh brought about a furry of emotions from the group. Last year, Ruthy wasn't too keen on Pooh, but this year she enjoyed him more.

After a long walk back to pick one apple for each child, we hiked over to the mini pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin. There were several to choose from and Moriah enjoyed navigating through the vines. She tried smelling the pumpkins to find the one she wanted. See the pictures below for their loot (click for larger images).
