The rumble of thunder is going on outside right now, but the weather has been a perfect way for October 2005 to begin! We had a fun day together and got to see some old friends. Chris, Dianne, Megan, and Madison came up from Kansas City to spend the afternoon with us. They had a friend getting married today, so they came up for lunch and to let the girls play. They learned on the way up that the wedding was a 7 PM rather than 4 PM, so the girls got to play longer and we adults enjoyed the company. It was fun to catch up and just see the girls play together.
We fired up the grill for lunch and enjoyed some Italian Chicken Breasts. Yum! The grill smelled wonderful in the crisp, autumn air! More of that to come! I'm looking forward to trying this recipe in the weeks to come!
